Exigo is the successor to the renowned veterinary version of the Medonic hematology analyzers, which also has become known as one of the sharpest veterinary products in the market. By launching Exigo purely for veterinary use, focus is dedicated to veterinarians alone and what animal blood components require from a hematology analysis system. EDTA coated 20¼ l microcapillaries. Exigo advanced WBC diff method Traditional WBC differentiating methods often incorrectly flag animal WBC as pathological. By using an advanced analysis algorithm, Exigo takes into consideration both the actual measured cell compositions as well as the expected profile of the analyzed species when performing the analysis. Thus, many normal samples that would be flagged as abnormal are avoided. Studies show that up to 80% of false indication of pathology can be avoided with this system. Hematological guidelines by Exigo Samples considered as pathological will be flagged by the system and will give a clear recommended action for further analysis of the sample. On-board clot prevention system Animal blood specimens have a tendency to cause clots and blockages in cell-counter analysis systems. Therefore Exigo is equipped with on-board cleaner automatically keeping the system constantly clean. Reagents Exigo should only be used with its original reagents. All reagents are non-toxic and cyanide-free.
